Va. House panel targets $2B for school repairs

Deteriorating colleges in Virginia would obtain funds for repairs below a program proposed by the state Home Appropriations Committee. The primary tier of the two-year College Development Mortgage Rebate Program would pay again 30% of principal and curiosity prices for as much as $1 billion for initiatives, and the second tier would garnish interest-free loans for as much as $1 billion.
